Purpose: The Purpose of the Emergency Preparedness Committee (EPC) is to coordinate overall campus emergency preparation, response and recovery, in the event of an emergency situation. 

Goal: The Goal of the Emergency Preparedness Committee (EPC) at Syracuse University is to provide for the health & safety of Students, Faculty, and Staff, preservation of Property, and Business Continuation in the event of an emergency situation.

The Pakistani military killed 20 militants during military operations in northwest Pakistan late Sunday night and into Monday morning, a senior military official told CNN.
